No. 17 Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim

LA Angels Anaheim

Anaheim Stadium was renovated back in 1996, and in 2003 the stadium was renamed Angel Stadium of Anaheim. This park went from being a baseball field for the Anaheim Angels from 1966 through 1979, to a baseball and football stadium for the LA Rams in 1981. When the LA Rams left Anaheim for St. Louis in 1995 the park was renovated and reopened in 1996 as a baseball stadium-only complex. With all of the changes and restorations that this stadium has been through one might think that improvements would have been created to promote a cleaner environment for its fans. The UFE (Urine Feces Everywhere) Team has rated the Angels park 17 out of 30, landing the stadium in the “Middle of the Pack” rating for cleanliness. The score would have been even lower if not for a fairly high percentage of women and men that wash their hands after using the restrooms. After an estimated 100 million dollars in renovations, the park has grandfathered in old fashioned, unhealthy methods of preparing and serving food and drinks.

Angel Stadium of Anaheim still has a high number of what the UFE Team classifies as “touch areas.” The newer restrooms do not have automatic toilet flushing, paper towel dispensers, soap dispensers, or water faucets. The only plus was that the entry and exit doors were already fixed open, so the fans did not have to touch them over and over again. The concession and condiment areas had a high number of “touch areas” as well.

Some changes to the park were for the better, such as removing the turn styles at the entry gates. Also, the new stadium now has three full-service restaurants, family seating areas, and upscale clubs to dine and view the game from. Although it is ranked a cleaner park by the UFE Team than the LA Dodgers Chavez Ravine Stadium, the Angels better watch out for their rivals because they have been making some changes too. If the Angels stadium does not clean up their act soon, they may go down far enough in sanitary ratings to be in the “Bottom of the Bin” grouping with their neighbors the LA Dodgers!

  3. I was hunting for facts about #17 for a while.
After many hours of searching in Google, at last I ran across the things that I was looking for in your website.
I ask myself what is the lack of the major search engines technique that they don’t rank this kind of helpful websites on top of the listing. In many cases the top listed web sites are filled with junk.

  4. Very interesting information!Perfect just what I was looking for!
